Hello lovely subscribers! I have a few updates about what all I’ve doing this past week. At the end of last week my squad travelled to DeQuincy, LA to partner with Samaritans Purse to help with the clean up of Hurricane Laura. We originally were supposed to stay until Sunday but with the coming of Hurricane Delta, our squad had to evacuate on Thursday. We were obviously disappointed because there is so much damage and it felt like we barely made a dent in all the clean-up and the opportunities to minister to the home owners. BUTTT AIM decided to move us to Dallas, TX for a few days instead of going back to GA and then move us back to LA to serve another week! We are so excited for the opportunity to serve again!

Over the past month that Samaritan’s Purse has been in LA, they have seen 22 people come to the Lord and several rededicating their lives to Christ! They are so organized and their ultimate goal is to help others in Jesus’ name. They make sure that each home owner hears the gospel and they encourage us to talk with the home owner if we feel the Holy Spirit asking us to. In the three days of service that me and my team did, we were able to help clear brush for 6 houses and saw one person come to Christ! And that’s only one team out of 4! It has been an amazing place to serve and I’m so glad that we are able to go back.

If you have any questions about anything, feel free to ask!

I will hopefully be posting some stories soon, so stay tuned for that!

Thank y’all for reading!

p.s. I am approaching a fundraising deadline of $10,000 next week and I need about $1,500 to reach it! Please consider asking the Lord if this is something you would like to contribute to and as always, your prayers are very much appreciated. Thank you!!!!

  2. Hannah –
This is awesome! No other experience in life can compete with being there when someone comes to Christ!
