”for I have learned in whatever situation I am to be content.“ (Philippians 4:11)

Contentment. This is something I’ve been learning at home. I didn’t plan on being home for this long, so I have to make the daily choice to be content. What happens when the excitement wears off and you start seeing all the hard or negative things around you? Will you be content or miserable?

I believe you have a choice to be content and that God WILL satisfy you when you choose contentment. His presence is all you need. If you’re dwelling in the presence of the Holy Spirit, its impossible to want more than Him. When was the last time you invited the Holy Spirit to dwell in you? When was the last time you sat in silence before Him and waited for Him to speak to you? The last time you asked God a question and listened for His response?

If we were constantly aware of Him around us, would we be wanting more than we need?

Just some thoughts I’ve had this week! Hope you enjoyed it!
