Good morning from Gainesville!
I arrived here on August 31, had about 10 days of leadership training, and then the racers arrived on September 11.
Just as a little reminder, I’m spending three months with The World Race, serving as a team leader for 5 girls.
There are 6 other team leaders for our group and one squad leader! I’ll be living here in GA for 2 months doing discipleship training and doing two weeks of hurricane disaster relief in New Orleans, LA. Then, I’ll be launching overseas to Costa Rica doing ministry with the group I’ll be leading! We‘ll live with a local ministry partner for a month!
The Lord has already spoken some amazing things over this season of my life! I wouldn’t really call myself sone one who loves to lead, but God has given me so much confidence in who He says I am. He’s given me so much peace and assurance over the things He’s called me to do.
As many of y’all know, I’m still fundraising! I would love to be fully funded by the time I leave for Costa Rica, which is November 5. I have about $800 raised already, which means I have about $2,200 left to raise. If you could give in any way, whether thats through prayer or financially, it would be much appreciated! I believe that no amount of money is too big for God. He owns the cattle on a thousand hills and He provides our every need!
