Sitting in team time, studying 1 Thessalonians this week, the Lord showed me his heart for the gospel and a new revelation that I had never seen before and I thought I’d share it with y’all!

“But as we were allowed of God to be put in trust with the gospel, even so we speak; not as pleasing men, but God, which tries our hearts.”1 Thessalonians 2:4

We have been approved by God to be entrusted with the gospel of Jesus Christ!!

it’s not some “duty” or “chore” that we have to do to share the gospel. It’s actually a privilege that God would trust us with the good news!

This mindset is one that i’m continually reminding myself of.  A constant renewing of my mind to share the truth with others because it brings life to the world! There is no death in truth so why are we afraid to share it?  There is no fear in love so if we are abiding in His perfect love then there shouldn’t be any fear to share the gospel with the world. This is some GOOD NEWS. God is so GOOD! He loves us and is in us every step of the way. Agghhh!!!

In other news, I’m now in Guatemala! I’m fully funded, but there are a few personal costs that I’m still fundraising for! If you feel called to donate, you can venmo me at @hannahhutchinson19 or cashapp at @hannahlhutch ! Please do not donate through my blog link as it does not go to me personally!

Thank you all for your support!

  1. Hannah we are so excited for the team to finally be in Guatemala!. You all have worked hard to learn and hear God’s heart. Be bold & confident as God goes before you. Opportunities to share God’s love and saving grace will present itself. Live in the moment as He has all things in His care. Look forward to hearing all the wonderful stories of God’s goodness and wonders. Praying the team continues to stay healthy.

  2. Thank you for the reminder that sharing the gospel is a privilege. That is definitely not easy for me.

  3. Hannah, I agree – I’m ever humbled that God chooses to use me in service to Him for Kingdom purposes. Who am I? Only “approved by God.” I love that phrase. Thanks for sharing.
