Hey friends!
First of all, I’d love to say a huge THANK YOU to y’all for continuing to read my blogs! It really means so much to me to know that y’all still read what I put out there!
Here are a few updates!
For about a month now, the Lord has been highlighting leadership to me. I wasn’t sure what He meant… was I supposed to came back to the Race next year and team lead? (Still don’t know for sure about that one haha) Was He just calling me to step up and take the lead when opportunities came up?
Then, a couple weeks ago during team time, we were giving each other feedback. (We love feedback at WR haha). And all of my team mates gave me affirmative feedback about leadership! God really confirmed in my spirit what He had already been speaking over me!
Fast forward a couple days. My team leader Paige and squad leader Brook asked me to be the raised up team leader for my team. I knew in my heart that God had given me this opportunity and I could either receive it or decline it. I spent some time with Him to tell me what He thought about it. I felt Him tell me that He had left it up to me to decide whether to accept it or not. I knew this would mean stretching my comfort zone and relying on Him more for wisdom and strength and growing even more in Him. I gave God my yes and accepted the role of team leader! I still have areas to grow in and to learn more about! I’m excited for this season of life!!!!
Another update:
Due to covid, I will be spending the month of December at home and watching all of our sessions virtually. There is obviously some disappointment that comes with that, but I’m thankful to spend some time with people at home and to finish my fundraising! If you feel led to donate, I am about $6,000 to be fully funded!
