Well hello friends. I know it’s been a hot minute since I’ve lasted posted on here! So here’s a little update on what I’ve been up to over the last two-ish months. I spent the month of September in Gainesville, GA with my squad as they did discipleship training for their next eight months of ministry. The Lord worked in so many amazing ways and grew every single person, even myself!
I stepped into a season of team leading for the first time and boy, was it so full of joy and fullness! In mid October, my squad and I loaded up into the AIM vans and headed down to New Orleans, LA to work with Samaritan’s Purse. I was able to go last year and loved it and was so glad I could go back again! We worked for two weeks tarping roofs, clearing yards, and mudding out homes from the damage of hurricane Ida. We met so many cool people and even saw a few of them give their lives to Jesus! WOOHOO! He’s so good!!
After those two weeks we drove back to Gainesville for a few days to debrief what we had learned over the months of September-October.
And on November 5, we launches overseas! We are now in Jaco, Costa Rica partnering with Oceans Edge Ministries! God is working SO much in Jaco already! We’ve had so many cool opportunities to partner with OEM and the local church here. We’ve done tons of homeless ministry, had a couple of kids surf clubs, and we’re in the process of painting the light posts around the city! This is an awesome way to meet all different kinds of people and just love on them like Jesus would.
So that’s my update for ya! I’ll be posting more blogs soon with more specific stories and how God is working in my own life and in those around me.
Thanks for reading!
